English Teachers in the French Lycées have a new set of set texts for the 'literature specialists' according to the BO n°14 du 1er avril 2004. The list is below. I have started compiling ressource pages for each book, which go from the Amazon France links to each (and related) titles to online material and information which should be of use to teachers embarking on the study of one or more of these works.

The Rasterbator has probably been used to decorate many a student bedsit and will certainly come in handy for livening up the staff room (and a few classroom) walls at work. Basically you upload a small image file and it turns it into a giant poster by making a load of PDF files which you then stick together in jigsaw fashion. I haven't had a go yet but I can see many possibilities. The whole process seems quite straightforward but some rasterbating tips may come in handy if you wish to avoid spending hours with the scissors...
